Dear Clients and Prospective Clients,

I appreciate you taking the time to read this letter. I’m an independent aviation insurance broker based in Kerrville, Texas and I want your business.

I come from a family rich in aviation and I am continuing that legacy. As the son of a cropduster and warbird airshow pilot, I grew up on a small family airstrip where I learned at an early age what really goes into owning an airplane. In high school my family and I restored a Boeing Stearman which I later took to college and earned a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Science. After college I worked as a CFI before later moving on to fly the Metroliner, the P51 Mustang, and the P38 Lightning. These days I keep proficient by flying my North American SNJ “Texan”.

Having spent years as an agent for a large aviation insurance agency, I’ve become extremely familiar with the aviation insurance industry, maintained great relationships with the underwriters and underwriting companies, and learned the value of great customer service. However, after working for that agency I realized that I could do a better job for my clients if I worked for myself. With my roots deep in aviation I never want my clients to feel like just a number.

Very few agents today are active pilots and airplanes owners, and even fewer have first hand warbird experience, so they have a hard time truly identifying with the customer. In addition to writing your policy, I’ll explain the aviation insurance business as well. This way you’ll understand what really goes into placing your coverage.
